By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you ("User", "you", or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

3. Educational Purpose and Training Disclaimer
The Service provides online theoretical training and educational materials only.
The Training Tools:

- do not replace accredited practical training or professional instruction
Completion of any training module does not certify competence or qualification to perform first aid, rescue, or vehicle extrication procedures.
Users acknowledge that practical rescue and medical skills require hands-on training and formal assessment by qualified instructors.
4. Acknowledgement of Risk
First aid, emergency response, and vehicle extrication activities involve inherent risks, including the risk of serious injury, death, or property damage.
By using the Service you acknowledge that:
- rescue and emergency procedures can be hazardous
- incorrect application of training may cause harm
- training must be applied only by appropriately trained and competent individuals
You agree that you are solely responsible for how any training information is applied in real-world situations.
6. User Responsibilities
You agree that you will:
- use the Service only for lawful purposes
- ensure any application of training content is performed safely and responsibly
- comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and organisational policies
- ensure that practical training is undertaken where required
You must not rely solely on the Service when responding to real-world emergencies without appropriate professional training and judgement.
5. Account Registration and Security
To access the Service you must create an Account and provide accurate information.
You are responsible for:
- maintaining the confidentiality of your Credentials
- all activity occurring under your Account
- ensuring your Account is not shared with unauthorised persons
You must notify Rescue-Sim immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised access or security breach.
Rescue-Sim may suspend or terminate Accounts suspected of misuse.
7. Fees and Payment
Some features of the Service may require payment.
All fees:
- are stated in GBP (£) unless otherwise specified
- must be paid according to the payment terms presented at the time of purchase
Rescue-Sim reserves the right to modify pricing or introduce new charges. Updated pricing will be published on the website.
All outstanding fees become immediately payable upon termination of an Account.
8. Licence to Use the Service
Rescue-Sim grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for your internal training purposes.
You must not:
- copy, reproduce, or distribute training materials
- modify or create derivative works
- reverse engineer the platform or simulations
- sell, licence, or commercially exploit the content
- remove copyright or proprietary notices
- attempt to disrupt or interfere with the Service
9. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the Service, Training Tools, website, software, and Documentation are owned by Rescue-Sim or its licensors.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of intellectual property to you.
All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
10. Data Protection and Privacy
Rescue-Sim processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).

11. Service Availability
Rescue-Sim will use reasonable efforts to maintain availability of the Service but does not guarantee uninterrupted access.

- network outages
- circumstances beyond our control
Rescue-Sim is not responsible for any loss arising from Service interruptions.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service and Training Tools are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rescue-Sim disclaims all warranties including:
- accuracy of training content
- fitness for a particular purpose
- reliability or completeness of information
- uninterrupted or error-free operation
Users rely on the Service at their own risk.
13. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by negligence

- any liability which cannot be excluded under UK law
Subject to the above:
Rescue-Sim shall not be liable for:

- loss of data or training records
- operational disruption
- injury or damage arising from the use or misuse of training content
Rescue-Sim’s total liability under these Terms shall not exceed £500.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rescue-Sim and its employees, directors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, or costs arising from:
- misuse of the Service
- application of training content
- breach of these Terms
- violation of applicable laws or regulations.
15. Third-Party Use
If you provide access to the Service to third parties (such as employees or trainees), you are responsible for ensuring they comply with these Terms.
You remain liable for their use of the Service.
16. Termination
Rescue-Sim may suspend or terminate access to the Service if:
- these Terms are breached
- accounts are misused
- payment obligations are not met
Users may terminate their Account at any time by contacting Rescue-Sim.
Upon termination:
- access to the Service will cease
- training records may no longer be available
- outstanding payments remain payable.
17. Changes to the Terms
Rescue-Sim may update these Terms from time to time.
Updated Terms will be published on the website. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
18. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales

20. Instructor and Training Provider Responsibility
Where the Service is used by training providers, instructors, employers, or organisations to support the delivery of training to learners, the organisation or instructor remains solely responsible for:
- the quality and delivery of any training provided to learners
- supervision of practical exercises
- assessment of learner competence
- ensuring that training meets any regulatory or professional standards
- verifying that learners are capable of safely applying techniques in practice.
Rescue-Sim provides online learning materials and simulations as a supplementary educational tool only.
Rescue-Sim does not certify instructors, training providers, or learners and does not guarantee that any individual is competent to perform first aid, rescue, or vehicle extrication procedures.
Training providers and instructors must ensure that all practical training is delivered by appropriately qualified personnel and conducted in a safe and controlled environment.
21. Certificate and Completion Disclaimer
Where the Service provides training completion certificates, digital badges, or training records:
- these documents confirm only that a user has completed the relevant online training module
- they do not certify professional competence
- they do not constitute formal qualification, licensing, or accreditation
Employers, training organisations, and regulatory bodies must carry out their own assessment processes to determine whether a learner is competent to perform any rescue, emergency response, or medical procedures.
Rescue-Sim accepts no responsibility for the misuse, misrepresentation, or misinterpretation of certificates or training records issued through the Service.
22. Simulation and Training Accuracy Disclaimer
The Service may include simulated rescue scenarios, vehicle extrication simulations, or emergency response training exercises.
While Rescue-Sim makes reasonable efforts to ensure that training materials reflect recognised good practice, users acknowledge that:
- simulations cannot replicate all real-world conditions
- rescue incidents are dynamic and unpredictable
- real-world situations may require professional judgement and decision-making beyond the scope of the training content.
Users must not rely solely on simulations or online training materials when responding to real-world incidents.
Rescue-Sim shall not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, or death resulting from reliance on simulated scenarios or training materials.
23. Assumption of Risk and Liability Waiver
By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that:
- first aid, emergency response, and vehicle extrication activities involve inherent risks
- incorrect application of rescue techniques may result in injury, death, or property damage
- the Service provides educational training materials only
You voluntarily assume full responsibility for any risks associated with the use or application of the training content provided through the Service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree that Rescue-Sim shall not be liable for any injury, illness, death, loss, or damage resulting from:

- reliance on simulation exercises or instructional content
- the application of techniques demonstrated within the Service
- any failure to follow professional or organisational procedures.
Nothing in this clause excludes liability which cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
24. Misuse of Training Materials
Users must not represent the Service as providing:
- professional certification
- regulated qualifications
- accredited emergency responder training
- official approval from emergency services or regulatory authorities.
Any organisation or individual using the Service as part of a training programme must ensure that all marketing, certification, and training documentation clearly states that Rescue-Sim provides supplementary online learning only.
Rescue-Sim accepts no liability for any claims, statements, or representations made by third parties regarding the scope or status of the training materials.
25. Training Content Updates
Rescue-Sim may update, modify, or remove training materials at any time to reflect changes in best practice, legislation, or operational procedures.
Users acknowledge that rescue techniques, medical guidance, and emergency procedures evolve over time. It is the responsibility of users and training organisations to ensure they are following the most current professional guidance applicable to their organisation or jurisdiction.
26. Participant Release and Responsibility Clause
By accessing and using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that:

3.The application of rescue techniques in real-world situations carries inherent risks, including the risk of injury, death, or property damage.
4.You accept full responsibility for how any training content, techniques, or procedures obtained through the Service are applied in practice.
5.You agree that the responsibility for determining whether a technique is appropriate in a real-world emergency situation rests solely with the individual responding to that situation and their employing organisation or supervising authority.
6.To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and hold harmless Rescue-Sim, its officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any claims, demands, damages, or liabilities arising from:
- the use or interpretation of training materials
- reliance on simulation exercises
- the application or attempted application of rescue techniques
- errors or omissions in training content.
27. Vehicle Rescue Technique Disclaimer
- Rescue-Sim training materials and simulations related to vehicle rescue and extrication are provided for educational purposes only.
- Vehicle designs, construction materials, safety systems, and emergency procedures vary between manufacturers, models, and years. Rescue-Sim cannot guarantee that techniques demonstrated in the Service are suitable for any specific vehicle or real-world scenario.
- Users acknowledge that practical application of vehicle rescue techniques carries inherent risks, including injury, death, or property damage.
- Users agree to always follow the operational procedures, risk assessments, and guidance issued by their employer, regulatory authority, or relevant emergency service when performing vehicle rescue or extrication activities.
- Rescue-Sim shall not be liable for any injury, damage, or loss arising from the application of vehicle rescue techniques demonstrated or taught through the Service.
- Completion of any vehicle rescue module does not certify competence, qualification, or authority to perform extrication or emergency rescue procedures in real-world situations.
